Most EU funded projects now bring participative governance approaches and social innovation to the forefront of project aims due to the importance of social acceptance in the long-term success of project implementations. Climate Volunteers has become specialized in laying the framework for local capacity building via the robust practice of collaborative governance or participative governance which mutually raises consciousness of the societal forces that are desiring to transform the reality but also local administrations that are aiming at long term societal change with positive outcomes, that is just and equitable socially.
